Rosé for Spring - Groundbreaking!

Our guide to pairing the newly-released 2026 Juno Nebbiolo Rosato.

It can often be the first thing we reach for on a warm, sunny day, but rosé’s place at the table extends far beyond a simple aperitif.

Charcuterie, cheese, antipasto and a glass of rosé, it probably sounds like we’re describing a typical table gathering in Spring. But with the release of our 2026 Longview Juno Nebbiolo Rosato, we thought we’d share our favourite pairings. Being so versatile, it can be effortlessly paired with long lunches in the sunshine, or relaxed dinners under candlelight. Fresh, vibrant and full of energy, the 2026 Juno Rosato is made with Nebbiolo, offering you the best of both worlds – the refreshing qualities of a white wine but structure and mouthfeel of a red.

Try these pairing ideas for your next leisurely lunch or weekend barbecue to really get the best out of your bottle of Juno Rosato;

1.        Fresh seafood, the natural match

Few pairings feel quite as effortless as rose and seafood. The Juno Rosato comes with an abundance of refreshing acidity which compliments the natural sweetness and delicate flavours of seafood. Think freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns with lemon juice or fish tacos topped with dill and capers.

2.        Mediterranean Flair

It may entice you to jet off to the Italian coast, but there’s no doubt that rose is a match made in heaven with the punchy flavours, fresh herbs and lashings of olive oil used in this delicious cuisine. Ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella and charred vegetables of zucchini, eggplant and capsicum. Or perhaps something a little more grand, roast chicken with lemon, garlic and rosemary potatoes.

3.        Asian-inspired flavours with a healthy amount of spice

With its spring blossom floral and star anise spice flavours, the 2026 Juno Rosato is bold enough to handle a little heat. Pair it with fragrant spices, ginger, chilli and lime and you’ll love the sweet-savoury balance it creates with the typical Asian-inspired dishes. Thai beef salad, grilled chicken skewers with a sticky glaze or pork, ginger and chive dumplings are our go-to’s.

It can often be the first thing we reach for on warm sunny days, but rose’s place at the table extends far beyond a simple aperitif. The 2026 Juno Rosato is available now and ready for your table!
