A behind the scenes look at our latest achievements at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show, celebrating the wines, the people and the vineyard practices that brought home four trophies and a suite of gold and silver medals.
The 2025 Adelaide Hills Wine Show has been an incredible celebration for all of us at Longview Vineyard. We are thrilled to share that this years results have recognised Longview as a true leader within the region.
Our wines received five gold medals, three silver medals and multiple bronze medals, and on top of that we were honoured with four major trophies. These included Best Cabernet or Blend, Best Other Red, Best Museum Wine and the prestigious trophy for Best Producer over one hundred tonnes. This final award acknowledged the depth and consistency of quality across our entire submission, something we are immensely proud of as a team.
Joint CEO Peter Saturno expressed his thanks to Chris Mein and the entire vineyard crew, along with Head of Winemaking Paul Hotker. Every vintage at Longview is a team effort, built on shared dedication to raising the bar and holding firm to excellence even in challenging times. The wine sector can be tough, but it is incredibly rewarding to be recognised on home soil and to celebrate alongside fellow producers from the Adelaide Hills.
Paul Hotker added that working with the Longview team is one of the great joys of his career, sharing that he believes our vineyard is among the best in Australasia. Being acknowledged across such a broad range of varietals is especially meaningful, with the success of Adelaide Hills Cabernet being a personal highlight.
