2015 MACCLESFIELD CHARDONNAY

94+ Points – Campbell Mattinson. “Toasty barrel-ferment characters, strong ripe peach, grapefruit and spice. This is both a powerful wine and a controlled one. It becomes mealy and flinty through the (long) finish but the roar of flavour through the palate is where the main action is. I think we can safely say that the quality here is very high.”

93 points – Wine Genius “Bright but reserved white peach and citrus fruits well supported by savoury barrel ferment complexity. Creamy textured in the mouth it is a full-bodied and powerful style with toasty oak supported by exotic tropical nuances and finishing with attractive length.
