“Made by none other than the talented Christian Canute of Rusden, the shiraz ‘Block ‘3 was aged for 22 months in large French Oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. It is purple-colored with a fragrant perfume of smoke, toast, violets, bacon, and blueberry. Thick, opulent, and layered, with suprising complexity, it somehow remains light on its feet, a trick Canute manages to pull off regurlarly at his own winery. Drink this superb Shiraz over the next 10-12 years.”

2006 Longview Yakka Shiraz

“This gem of a shiraz was grown on Longview’s Macclesfield vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. It has intense pepper-spice and fine French oak aromas. It’s very young and a touch raw but amazingly slurpable and thoroughly delicious. Sweet, ripe, spicy cherry fruit floods the mouth, smooth as silk and almost lush. The lasting impression is of balance. It should reward cellaring for 12 plus years but it’s hard not to drink it now...".

A truly sensational wine showing rich opulent fragrance, ripe dark fruits and spice. The palate carries concentrated shiraz flavour across deeply layered ripe tannins, the result of careful attention to detail in the vineyard, traditional vinification, gentle basket pressing and
maturation in large French oak barrels for 22 months.

2007 Red Bucket Shiraz Cabernet won a gold medal at the the Royal Perth Wine Show with 93 points.

NEW RELEASE WINES 2006 Blue Cow Chardonnay A pure expression of fruit quality and vineyard character. Flavours of ripe nectarine, white peach and lemon citrus are the hallmarks of our cool climate Adelaide Hills chardonnay. The palate is fresh and lively; stone fruit, green apples and lemon zest, finishing crisp, clean and crunchy, it’s perfect to enjoy on its own or with a range of cuisines. 2008 Epitome Late Picked Riesling 2008 produced wonderful conditions to produce a late harvest style. Our steep southern slopes which house our Riesling helps minimize the suns radiation; this in turn gives us a long ripening period and helps us maintain good acidity. The wine has a light golden straw colour; the aroma has slight notes of golden delicious apple and molasses. This comes together with an underlying bouquet of orange blossom. A refreshing palate of peach, ripe citrus and dried apricots is followed by a wonderfully clean finish that will compliment most deserts and especially cheese.
