Longview is now a family-owned affair

Longview vineyard has undergone a change in ownership and is now lead by a South Australian family with an illustrious 30 year history in the food, wine and hospitality industry.

Heading up the operations at its head office in “Maccy” are brothers Peter and Mark Saturno and long time family friend Denis Rossetto.

Denis is General Manager of the vineyard, while Peter and Mark spearhead the sales and marketing department.

“We have exciting plans for the gradual expansion of the Longview Single Vineyard label and our spectacular on-site facilities”, Denis said.

Denis' background is in hospitality as well as holding senior positions with French barrel giant Tonnellerie Radoux and trail blazing cork manufacturer, Diam.

Previous owner and Longview founder Duncan MacGillivray is excited about the new ownership and its direction, saying that it would add a new dimension to the Longview brand in Australia and the US, as well as make in-roads to additional international markets.

So it’s all hands on deck at Longview vineyard. Look out for the same top class wines in a streamlined, yet exciting portfolio and watch our world class vineyard continue to evolve from strength to strength.
