Longview Vineyard | Premium South Australian Wines

Longview Vineyard is just south of the historic township of Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills, about 40 minutes south-east of the city of Adelaide.

Since its early days as one of the area's largest dairy farms, Longview has now been meticulously restored and developed into one of South Australia's premium wine tourism destinations.

The name Longview aptly descibes this vineyard which has panoramic views over the property itself and the surrounding countryside as well as far reaching outlook to the Coorong and Lake Alexandrina.

The meandering tree-lined drive leads past thoroughbred horses and picturesque lakes up to the Cellar Door and an expansive function area which provides a wonderful venue for up to 160 guests. Discoveries are everywhere on the vineyard- hidden objects of art and rustic charm abound. And keep an eye out for our famous Blue Cow!

Come and visit us on a Sunday between noon and 4pm to enjoy Tapas on the lawns, sheltered verandahs or barn. It's a popular weekend destination so be sure to ring ahead to avoid disappointment.

New ownership at Longview

The award winning Longview vineyard is now operated by a well-known South Australian family with a 30 year history in the food, wine and hospitality industry.

In February, the Saturno family took over the stunning vineyard with its recently awarded accommodation, charming cellar door and hugely popular function centre.

The vineyard, managed by brothers Mark and Peter, will continue to develop the Longview brand and increase production of its estate range wines.

Peter and Mark were both living and working in New York City when the opportunity to take over the vineyard arose ... and they jumped at the chance, leaving behind careers as a Broadway actor (Mark) and Peter as a wine distributor, with a portfolio including some of the Big Apple’s most important retail accounts.
